Endurance GB Elite squad member Christine Yeoman from Shepton Mallet in Somerset took 4th place with L M Crazy Girl at the recent FEI 2* 120km Endurance ride at Euston Park near Thetford on the 3rd June. This is a crucial result in the run up to the team selection for the 2012 Longines FEI World Endurance Championships. Christine has been a regular member of the British Endurance team since 2003 and has completed 20, 160km endurance rides. In her bid for a place on the team for the 2012 Championships, which will be held in the UK for the first time, Christine is taking her own fitness very seriously.

Christine said “I am focussing on my own fitness as well as those of the horse. I recently took part in a 120km bike ride across the Somerset Levels and Cheddar Gorge, the course at Euston Park that the World Championships will be held over is very fast so rider fitness is hugely important”. Christine completed the 120km bike ride in just over 6 hours the day before the 160km ride at Euston Park.
