The Quantocks Training ride, ably organised by Margaret Swords and an army of helpers, has held every year at the Ramscombe Car Park, near Bridgwater, in Somerset and has in the past been a competitive ride - it is set to become one yet again. This ride is quite demanding, with several good climbs, particularly if you tackle the longer distance. However as the terrain is mostly forestry tracks the going can usually stand up even during a very wet spell of weather. Distances will be 64km, 40km and 24km.
