Eighteen horses & riders set off on the 2010 Treasure Hunt. The weather was lovely – clear skies & sunshine all the way (haven’t we been lucky on Exmoor this year?), and despite several riders taking a few wrong turns, everyone arrived back at the venue in good time. The scoring is worked out on speed round the course (with penalties awarded for speeds below the optimum) plus number of correct answers to the clues, and for the first time no-one had a ‘minus’ score!

Chris and Jo Smyth were the winners, with Dee Kickham and Janice Hawker the runners up. Both pairs took away plenty of ‘treasure’, and all the other riders had a share of ‘goodies’.
