The date for the ride has now been finalised as Sunday 28th February 2010. Venue is Quebec Barn, (near Quebec Farm) on the B390 between Heytesbury & Chitterne. Distances are now 18kms and 40kms.

The 2010 Awards Dinner has been postponed until 20th February due to the weather. Traditionally held on the 2nd Saturday in January, at the start of the new season, rather than at the end of the old, the Wessex Awards Dinner is an opportunity for members to get out of their lycra and into their 'posh gear'.

We had hoped this ride would at least become a Training Ride in 2009, but it has been shelved at least for this year. Quiet and under-stated, Witham Vale is a Wessex stalwart... Venue is a disused airfield near Stourhead, Mere in Wiltshire. It makes a welcome return to the calendar for 2010 at an earlier date in the year!
